WePlay Academy League Season 4 reaches playoffs

The four teams moving on to the WAL Season 4 playoffs are decided with the remaining nine teams having been left behind.
MOUZ NXT and BIG Academy, two of the biggest hitters in WePlay Academy League history after having made the playoffs in every edition, were the two first to qualify as the top seeds in Groups A and B in the fourth iteration of the tournament.
Furthermore, MOUZ NXT have not only made every playoff, but won all three of the previous events, all the while pushing two of its stars, Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás and Jon "JDC" de Castro, up to the organization’s main squad.
BIG Academy, who have also seen a player promoted to the main squad recently in Karim "Krimbo" Moussa, finished fourth twice in the first two iterations of the tournament and second in the previous season.

In the play-in following the group play, the top bracket ended up with two of the favorites to reach the playoffs, Young Ninjas and fnatic Rising, going up against each other.
The Swedes, missing in-game leader Erik "ztr" Gustafsson who was called up to play GET Dubai in place of Hampus "hampus" Poser, won the first map of the qualifying series, but were then taken down by Iulian "regali" Harjău and company in the following two.
The second play-in bracket had FURIA Academy playing their hearts out from the second match of the gauntlet as they beat their Young Gods countrymen and PROSPECTS to set up the final match against Astralis Talent for a shot at the playoffs.
The Danes, who came into the play-in in the last round thanks to an impressive second-place run in the group stage, weren’t able to stop the Brazilians as FURIA Academy marched on through the final series of the bracket with a solid 2-0 victory to secure their spot in the playoffs.
The double-elimination bracket for the final four will kick off on June 24 at 15:00 and will conclude on June 26 with the grand final at 18:30 .
The four teams that will compete to become WePlay Academy League Season 4 champions are:
