Triumph, Third Impact qualify for DreamHack Open June North America

The two teams complete the team list for the $70,000 event, which will also have points towards the ESL Pro Tour circuit on offer.
Triumph and Third Impact have advanced through the closed qualifier for DreamHack Open June North America, earning the last two spots in the main event which will run from June 29 - July 3.
The eight-team, double-elimination closed qualifier bracket saw Triumph - who were playing with Omar "3ARK00Z" Elyyan in place of Austin "Cooper" Abadir - progress through without dropping a map, beating Triton, Mythic, and X13 to book a spot in the main event.

Third Impact, who fell in an upset loss to ESEA Advanced side Counter Nature in their opening match, showed tenacity as they were able to recover in the lower bracket, fighting past two fellow Premier teams to remain in the running.
A default win over ChocoCheck, who forfeited the tournament, gave way to series victories over Mythic and GGPR, while Third Impact's final match against X13 in the consolidation final went the distance before Noah "insane" Eheart's side were able to prevail 2-1 to advance.
The two teams join the likes of paiN, Extra Salt, and O PLANO in the main event, which will see a GSL group stage lead into a four-team, single-elimination playoff bracket, culminating with a best-of-five grand final.
